College

Here is a little glimpse into what I've been doing this semester so far. It's been absolutely crazy, so I haven't even had time to think about my blog. I may or may not get better, we'll just have to see. I'm currently in the middle of finals week, so this is a nice reminder for me that a part of college is fun, even in this weeks isn't the best. But it has been a super awesome semester. so...take a look.

Hooray, so I just found out I got the Culver's Scholarship for 1000 dollars!!! I am very happy and excited!

The End of Life As I know It

Hooray!!! I am officially done with high school . . . forever!! It is an exciting and scary thought. I am so excited for next fall! But as seniors before we were alowwed to leave the school there was a couple things we had to do.

First, there was the senior campout. Laura and I were pretty proud, because this is the first tent that either of us put up on our own.

This is Emma, Laura and me. We are at the Senior Campout. It was lots of fun. There were campfires, smores, and very little sleeping going on. Plus there was a mad game of ultimate frisbee. I'm addicted to that game now!

This last image is our ode to Art History. Ryan, Zach, Adam, Laura and I were getting bored around 2 a.m. so we decided to put our artistic abibilities to the test. And Ryan and I felt like we ought to copy some of the artwork from a master. Thus our ode to Jack Pollock was born . . . it looks cooler if you were there . . . and understood a little bit about art history.

I would post more, but I'm just learning how to load pictures. And apparently you are supposed to load the ones you want to show up last first. So there is too much work involved in fixing them. Plus I must go watch the Bachelorette. I'll post more later.

College

AHHH! I know I haven't posted on here in forever. I don't expect anyone to actually read this anytime soon, but I just have to write somewhere how excited I am for college. Ask anyone who lives in my home! It is the only thing I can think about anymore! So i have signed up for housing, and I will be in Heritage Halls! Fox Hall to be exact. I met all of my roommates on facebook, and they seem awesome! I think that the girl who is in my same room is awesome! We are really similar. We both play piano, and aren't very sporty. We both like to read. I can't wait. This fall is going to be fun!

Orchestra Concert

Hello people! This is my first official post. I'm only just figuring out how to use blogspot, so my blog will probably be changing as I learn. I've decided to stop using my "real" website and just use blogspot, because I don't make any money on there anyways. Plus this way I can add pictures of me and talk about things that go on in my life without worrying that weird people are watching me.

So today my orchestra had our Winter Concert. We played three pieces, and it lasted for one hour. It was pretty fun. But there is this kid who sits behind me, and he kept tapping me with his bow so that I would scoot over so he could see the conductor. I guess he must not have realized he could have scooted over just as easily. But whatever. The concert turned out well, and we played a lot better than I thought we would. These pictures are of me before I left.
